Focus Solutions announced today that Bret Cain, founder and former CEO, has named Daniel Warnock to serve as the company’s chief executive officer.

During his introduction to the company, Warnock said, “It is truly an honor to join the team and to have this opportunity to build on the solid foundation that Bret has established.” His emphasis on developing internal talent, his personal integrity, and the vision for global influence that he shares with Bret are some of the qualities that made him a perfect fit for Focus. 

“Focus Solutions is creating innovative strategies and technologies to simplify the complexities of litigation support services particularly related to Electronic Data Discovery,” Warnock said. “Combining this innovation with the explosive growth in litigation support provides an outstanding opportunity to lead Focus’ expansion in the litigation support industry.”

Warnock, a 26-year veteran of the utility industry, joins the company with extensive executive leadership experience, having previously led several US and international companies to achieve notable records of growth, profitability and operational integrity.

Prior to accepting his position at Focus, Warnock served as regional president of American Water, the largest water company in the US. He was responsible for American Water’s regulated and non-regulated business units in 13 states which made up the Southeast region, serving more than six million people in 600 communities.

The appointment is effective immediately. Warnock will join the company’s board of directors and take on the responsibility for all facets of Focus Solutions and its daily operations. He succeeds Bret Cain, founder and CEO of Focus, who will move into his new role as Executive Director. Cain looks forward to managing the board of directors and driving the company’s National Strategic Alliance partnerships.
